Ashley Tate is a DevOps Engineer at IBM Software SRE where she focuses on assessing current systems and processes and developing ways to improve them through automation. Ashley has led interdepartmental projects and written and developed code to automate processes for client self-service and access management to IBM's asset and infrastructure management offerings. She is currently leading a new interdepartmental project to create an AI chatbot leveraging watsonx to assist SREs with customer support and other daily tasks. Prior to becoming a DevOps Engineer, Ashley studied Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University while interning as a Software Developer at IBM Watson IoT Blockchain.
