He testified before a congressional subcommittee investigating the mandatory arbitration system. He writes blogs for Advisor Perspectives and publishes a weekly newsletter for investors and advisors. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University, completed his first year of law school at the University of California Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
