David DePeace: My name's David DePeace. I'm a member of the development, the product team here at Trava, and I'm 24 years old. Almost forgot that. I'm 24 years old, and I live in Philadelphia.Speaker 2: What is your role at Trava?David DePeace: So I'd say at Trava, I'm a member of our fantastic development team, and I guess to expand on that, I'm a part of an innovative team that I really feel is truly pushing the boundaries of technology to create a new future for cybersecurity and insurance and meshing that together.Speaker 2: Where is your happy place?David DePeace: I'd say my happy place is probably listening to a record in the morning and having a nice cup of coffee, especially on the weekends. That's how I like to start my day.Speaker 2: What's your go- to record?David DePeace: I got a lot, but I got to say some of the old Earth, Wind and Fire and Kool and the Gang, they're my favorite. I like to start the day off with a little bit of funk.Speaker 2: What is your favorite motivational quote?David DePeace: So funny enough, it actually comes from Yoda, and it's," Do or do not; there is no try." That's one that truly means a lot to me, because it really shows commitment to a project or commitment to putting yourself full force into what you want to try to do. And that's the best way: to go in and give it your best shot, no matter what. Always try your hardest, and if you fail, you fail; it's okay. But you always know that you did your best.
