Dr. Mark Daniel Ward is a Professor in Statistics and (by courtesy) of Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Mathematics, and Public Health at Purdue University. He's also the Director of The Data Mine. His research is in probabilistic, combinatorial, and analytic techniques for the analysis of algorithms and data structures; he also is interested in science of information, game theory, and large-scale computation.
